Njork is a versatile cutting board designed to cater to people living in small, big city apartments. A problem for people living in these small spaces is the lack of kitchen counter space. This lack of counter space makes it very difficult to prepare meals at home. This cutting board transforms a small amount of space into a larger, functional area. Njork is able to be placed over any stovetop or sink. Because it is made of high heat resistant silicone, it can be placed on stove tops without worrying about burning or melting. The extendable legs also allow it to be placed over sinks and even stand over uneven surfaces.

Tivera is an electric wine bottle opener with an improved design focusing primarily on ergonomics and its discoverability. I noticed that most electric wine bottle openers all generally have the same design that is sleek but does not make it easy to use for people with dexterity issues in their hands. While keeping a sleek design I have made it simpler for users to understand its functions. By giving my design a T shape I make it easier to hold while it is being held over a wine bottle and uncorking it. The T shape is also meant to allude to older “pocket corkscrews”, with the desired goal of making the design more appealing to “wine snobs”.
